The brief

What we did
Because every fee was already published, the shortlist happened before anyone made contact. Five candidates across two tiers, compared on fee, topic fit and reviews in a single sitting, then narrowed to two for briefing calls.

Confirmed the same week at the published band. The board got a one-page rationale showing what each option would have cost, which is the part most bookings cannot produce.
