About Andrew Demetriou

Andrew Demetriou is the retired chief executive officer (CEO) of the Australian Football League after holding that position for 11 years.

His achievements during this period were enormous including his ability to bring both SA Cricket and SA Football together which everybody said was going to be an impossible task.

For three years prior to his CEO appointment he was the General Manager of Football Operations.

Andrew is now on several boards including the Bastion Group, a sports marketing company which helps broker sponsorships for large organisations.
