About Brett Connellan

In 2016, Brett Connellan’s life took an unexpected and terrifying turn when he was attacked by a Great White Shark while surfing at Bombo Beach.

With three-quarters of his left leg torn away, Brett was on the brink of death.

Thanks to the quick actions of his friend and emergency responders, Brett survived.

His recovery journey was long and challenging, forcing him to rebuild not only his body but also his mindset.

Through resilience and determination, Brett defied expectations by walking again and returning to surfing. His story, Attacking Life, is now a documentary currently screening on Stan.

Today, he shares his powerful story to help others embrace second chances and face their own challenges with courage.
