Emma Donaldson is a Defence veteran and Defence family advocate whose leadership is grounded in lived experience.

She has served in fast paced Army environments and later supported frontline service as the partner of an elite soldier, raising two children through constant transition.

Emma now works as a Veteran Liaison Officer with Legacy, building relationships across Defence and ex service organisations while advocating for families.

She has also led national lived experience initiatives with Open Arms, applying trauma informed approaches to wellbeing.
