About Geoff Huegill

Geoff 'Skippy' Huegill is an Australian swimming legend and dual Olympian who has won seventy-two international medals, including two Olympic medals and six world championship titles.

He held eight world records, notably in the 50 metre butterfly.

Geoff became the nation’s favourite comeback kid when he emerged from retirement in 2008, shedding 45 kilograms to re-enter competition.

Declared a national hero after winning gold at the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games in the 100 metre butterfly, Geoff has also excelled as a sailor, placing twice in the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.

He continues to inspire Australians with his resilience and engaging personality.
