Jane Flemming OAM OLY

Jane Flemming OAM OLY is a well-known Australian sporting personality. During her sporting career as a Heptathlete, long Jumper and Hurdler she was a dual Olympian representative, dual Commonwealth Games Gold medallist and dual Silver medallist. She held 13 national titles, had a world ranking of 2 and broke numerous records in elite competition. She remains the Commonwealth Games Heptathlon record holder (set in 1990).

Jane retired from representative athletics in 1997 to focus on a marketing, media and commercial career. She has worked numerous Australian and international television and radio networks, presenting nightly sports news, in Olympic, Commonwealth and World Championship commentary roles as well as appearing as a host and special guest and expert commentator on all things sport and sponsorship. She is a regular contributor to magazines and newspapers, and provides sponsorship and marketing expertise to numerous high-profile publicly listed companies.

Jane is a professional company director and founded and manages two commercial businesses; Flemming Promotions a sponsorship and marketing consultant and Live Life Get Active, an Australia-wide community health initiative and was recently named as one of Australia’s top 100 women of influence in Sport.

Jane is a mother to twin boys, has trekked the Kokoda track and summited Mt Kilimanjaro.
