About Lydia Lassila OAM

[Visiting Dates: 15 May - 15 November 2026] Lydia Lassila OAM is a five-time Winter Olympian, gold medallist and the first woman in history ever to perform the quad-twisting somersault.

In 2018, Lydia competed at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics in South Korea. Most recently, she was a Champion participant on Australian Survivor.

Off the slopes Lydia continues to inspire people with her fascinating story through keynote and motivational presentations. She has an incredible understanding of achieving goals through diversity and has mastered the art of juggling life as an elite athlete, mum and an entrepreneur.
