Nury Vittachi is an author and journalist based in Hong Kong, and has written many books and articles, under his own name and as Mr Jam, Lai See, The Spice Trader and so on.
He is one of the most widely published Asian writers on the planet and has written more than 30 books, ranging from non-fiction works to novels to stories for children.
Nury's newspaper columns are syndicated daily throughout Asia and can be read at www.misterjam.com. An award-winning journalist, he has had regular slots on the BBC, CNN, as well as having held senior editorial positions at the Far Eastern Economic Review and the South China Morning Post.
His latest book is Mr Wong Goes West , part of the Feng Shui Detective comedy-crime novel series, described as “extremely funny” by the Daily Telegraph and “endearingly wacky” by The Times of London.
Nury lives in Hong Kong with his English wife and three adopted Chinese children.
