About Paul Wade OAM

Paul Wade OAM is one of Australia’s most respected footballers and former Socceroos captains.

Representing his country 118 times, including 84 ‘A’ internationals, Paul competed in two World Cup campaigns, famously marking Diego Maradona in the 1993 qualifier against Argentina.

He also played at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, won the NSL Player of the Year, and claimed two NSL Grand Final victories.
