Robert I. Sutton is an organizational psychologist and Professor of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University studying leadership, innovation, organizational change, and workplace dynamics.
His main focus over the past decade is on scaling and leading at scale—how to grow organisations, spread good things (and remove bad things) in teams and organisations, and enhance performance, innovation, and well-being given the distinct challenges in big organisations.
Robert has long been considered a leading business mind, with t he American Management Association selected Sutton as one of the top 30 leaders who most influenced business in 2014 (ranking him 10th).
Robert has done keynotes and led workshops on leading at scale for more than 100 organizations including Google, Deloitte, Netflix, United Fresh, Uber, and since 2019, he has developed and delivered more than a dozen interactive sessions for Microsoft executives.
