Wayne Herbert is outspoken and an advocate for people with disability and the LGBTIQ community.

Wayne walks the talk. He has worked with a range of federal government agencies including the Disability Working Group, served as deputy chairperson of the ACT Government’s LGBTIQ ministerial advisory council and held positions on the ACT government Disability Reference Group. Wayne is currently a member of the ACT Government’s LGBTIQ ministerial advisory council and is a board member of the ACT AIDS Action Council.

Wayne Herbert is the author of the hugely successful book, Anecdotes of a Disabled Gay and his 2017 TEDxCanberra feature has had thousands of views.
